Dear Faculty, Staff, and Administration,

Exciting things are happening with your local Enrichment Foundation!!! We have entered a new year with the same goal, helping to enrich the educational experience for Miami children. The Foundation has undergone many changes over the years, but some of the latest will hopefully be exciting to you, our partners in our mission.

Thanks to the help of one of our board members, Sandy Ankenman, we have created a newsletter for your convenience. You will find in this newsletter helpful tools to allow you to participate in the grant process. The application form is now available in both a printable and a Microsoft Word format. It is our goal to make the grant process more streamlined so you can spend less time with the paperwork and more time with your students. We hope it is beneficial.

Also included in the newsletter is an application for membership to the Foundation. Last year the board added a new membership level for the faculty and staff of the school district. Our decision was greeted very positively, as many of you and your colleagues decided to join the Foundation. The district’s teachers and staff have always been our biggest partners in helping the children. So it was very reassuring to see so many of you felt our cause was worthy of your financial contributions. If you have not already done so please consider becoming a member of the Foundation and help us give back to our schools and children.

We as a board look forward to continuing to help you educate our children in creative and innovative ways. If at any time we can be helpful to you or your students please do not hesitate to ask. We look forward to seeing your grant application and hope you can attend the annual banquet to join us in recognizing this years award winners.
